Meet Shawn Norlin

Raised in Mill Valley, California, and living in San Francisco for a decade before returning to Marin County, Shawn Norlin has a lifetime of a resident’s perspective on real estate from both sides of the Golden Gate.

Shawn is a multifaceted self-starter with an eye for efficiency — and her tech-centered background only magnifies that strength. But beyond measurable productivity, she equally values the human aspects of compassion and communication. It’s this balance that makes Shawn a force in the real estate industry. Leading with honesty, transparency, and a tireless effort to exceed expectations, Shawn channels her ingenuity into her real estate clients’ success, leveraging years of accumulated marketing, organizational, and interpersonal skills to achieve her clients’ dreams.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Shawn worked in event production and experiential marketing with major corporate clients worldwide. Then, she became a creative producer at Lyft headquarters, where her coworkers raved about her attention to detail. Her ability to communicate and connect serves her well as a real estate professional, and her marketing experience and savvy are an asset to her clients.

Shawn’s experience with real estate stems from her family, which has always owned investment properties, as well as the purchase of her own home — leaving her with a lingering interest in the local market and inventory and a desire to share. She especially enjoys working with young families and first-time buyers.

In her spare time, Shawn spends time with family, friends, and her big dog, Gunner. Weekends find her at the beach or hiking a local trail with her pup. She loves to cook and entertain and often visits garage sales and flea markets searching for hidden gems — which she compares to appreciating the limitless potential of real estate.
